Chiều 12/5/2026, Đại sứ Phạm Việt Hùng đã làm việc với Giáo sư, Tiến sĩ Supachai Pathumnakul, Bí thư Thường trực Bộ Giáo dục Đại học, Khoa học, Nghiên cứu và Đổi mới sáng tạo Thái Lan.
Hai bên đã trao đổi về việc tiếp tục triển khai hiệu quả Hiệp định về Hợp tác Khoa học, Công nghệ và Đổi mới sáng tạo kí năm 2017 và khả năng hợp tác trong các lĩnh vực như bán dẫn, AI, chuyển đổi số và công nghệ hàng không vũ trụ; đồng thời phối hợp tổ chức các hoạt động giao lưu nhân dịp kỷ niệm 50 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao Việt Nam – Thái Lan (1976–2026), góp phần làm sâu sắc hơn quan hệ Đối tác Chiến lược Toàn diện giữa hai nước.

On the afternoon of May 12, 2026, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung held a meeting with Professor Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
The two sides discussed measures to continue effectively implementing the 2017 Agreement on Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation, as well as potential collaboration in areas such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and aerospace technology. They also discussed coordinating exchange activities to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Thailand (1976–2026), thereby contributing to the further deepening of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
