BID CONDITIONS

• This bidding is open to all external bidders.
• The vehicle may be inspected from the date of announcement until 20^th September 2026, from Monday to Friday (08:30 – 11:30 and 14:00 – 17:00) (by appointment: Tel: Miss Hong Anh 0980 832 576 or honganhdo253@gmail.com) at the Embassy’s parking lot, 83 Wireless Rd, Lumpini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330.
• The Embassy reserves the right to reject any or all the bids submitted without assigning any reason. The sealed envelope must contain the bid form and a copy of the bidder’s ID card or passport. The sealed envelope should be marked “Bidding on Embassy of the Republic of Viet Nam’s Vehicle” and dropped at the Embassy’s mail box at 83 Wireless Rd, Lumpini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, not later than 14h00 on 20^th September 2026.
• The specific date and time for the bidding session will be notified to bidders in advance via LINE or Email. The Embassy will inform the bidders whether his/her bid is accepted or not on the same day by E-mail/telephone. The successful bidder is required to pay the amount of the offer in cash or with a cashier cheque by agreement/discussion between the two sides and then to arrange for removal of the asset on own account without causing any damage to surrounding property.
• The successful bidder shall reimburse the Embassy for any damage sustained as result of own removal. If the bidder fails to pay and retrieve the car within the indicated/agreed days: the car will be sold to the next bidder in line.
• Please note that after the sale is completed, the Embassy needs to keep the diplomatic license plates while waiting for the approval on the transfer of the ownership from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This procedure takes around 3-4 weeks: Therefore, driving without a license plate is not recommended.
